An exquisite German alphabet by a Campe, who was a major figure in the German enlightenment, and an important contributor to the devlopment of children's literature. This version is part of his collected works issued by the publishing house which he founded. A facsimile was published in 1979.
For this edition OCLC lists NYPL, Illinois, Princeton and libraries in Germany. There are several earlier editions , but all are of the greates rarity, the only one in the US being an 1807 edition at the Univesity of Illinois.
