A handsomely designed collection of six articles including Klutsis' "Photomontage as a New Kind of the Agitational Art," on pp 117-32. With: Kulagina, Valentina Nikiforovna. 1902-1987; and Aleksei Eliseevich Kruchykh. 1886-1968. Chornaya taina Esenina [Esenin's Black Secret]. The texts were prepared for the first exhibition of the October Group (in 1930). Gustav Klutsis was the pioneer and promoter of photomontage technique which he viewed as the only way to correctly reflect the socialist construction. These photomontage examples are from this peak era of its expression. A fine copy.
