An iconic book with the celebrated letterpress covers designed by Lissitzky. The cover of the Constructivist poet Selvinskii's autobiography somewhat mysterious being a photomontage of the German artist Hans Arp on a background of the Dada periodical 391. Arp was a poet, but without an obvious connection to Selvinskii. Beautifully designed poetry book with an intact fold-out poem insert on page 25. The insert sheet contains parodies of poems of Blok, Mayakovsky, Aseev, Pasternak, Zharov, Kruchenykh and Utkin. Rare to be found in such fine condition.
