This catalogue from a Ruscha retrospective in 1972 features a catalogue raisonne of his prints and artist's books complete excepting student work through the date of the exhibition. Though it does not include his paintings, this is a thorough catalogue with a wide variety of Ruscha's pre-1972 artistic production. Of particular note are his text pieces, photographs from the "Tanks, Banks, Ranks, Thanks" series, and drawings from his Apartment series. Ruscha and Foster business cards laid-in, as issued. Inscribed by Ruscha "To Mark-Ed Ruscha". Front hinge splitting but still intact, flyleaf with inscription loose, spine and front cover faded to light blue.
