This beautifully printed catalogue for a show at the Museum Brandhorst in Munich is interesting on many levels: it addresses the book in Warhol's oeuvre in both general essays ("Warhol as a Children's Book Designer") and in more specific chapters dedicated to important works ("Andy Warhol's America"). The books illustrated here are not frequently exhibited. This aspect of his career is relatively underrepresented in other studies, so this adds important and essential scholarship to a more complete understanding of Warhol's range.
