This well-illustrated catalogue, created to accompany two shows (Sol LeWitt: Wall Drawings from 1968-2007 at the Centre Pompidou-Metz and Sol LeWitt: Colors at the M-Museum Leuven), documents the most significant gathering of LeWitt's wall drawings ever exhibited in Europe, as well as a selection of his sculpture. The text is especially inviting and includes a selection of his writings (his 1965 letter to Eva Hesse is happily reprinted here with the original), spreads from his artist's books, plus interviews with LeWitt and essays by leading lights in Lewitt scholarship (some reprinted from earlier catalogues and monographs).
