First Edition. Limited to 35 copies, signed and numbered by Frankenthaler on colophon leaf. The book begins with the poem St. Valentine by William Carlos Williams printed in lithography inside the front cover.
The book is printed on HMP linen-textured white handmade paper. he intaglios were printed from eleven copper and five plastic plates. They are executed in the artist's characteristic fluid, colourful style with images comprised of hearts, lips, putti, etc. all symbols celebrating love.
