An elaborate woodcut title-border illustrating this scarce edition of Justinus' epitome - our only surviving record - of the Augustan historian Pompeius Trogus' History. The present woodcut border is populated with numerous putti, at play upon large vines; at the foot within a shield is the monogram of the printer Joannes Singrenius. This edition is not listed in RLIN. Some soiling; early annotation in ink.
