This volume is the first major study and catalogue raisonne of the sculpture of Gaudier-Brzeska. In his short life he produced seminal sculpture, work known for its semi-abstract forms and dynamic treatment of the figure, work that would later influence Henry Moore and Barbara Hepworth. The text examines these works and also details his association with Ezra Pound, Wyndham Lewis and other important figures in the pre-WWI London art world.
