ROSSARD, Frederic. Le Ciel a la portée de Tous. , pp. of explanatory text accompanying the plates, pp conclusion. Illustrated with 21 mounted gelatin silver prints (on 18 leaves of heavy grey paper); each image within a black and green frame, with caption underneath. Small 4to, bound in publisher's illustrated blue boards. Toulouse: Imprimerie B. Sirven, ND [ca.1915].
A fine copy of this splendid and virtually unknown photobook, which presumably got swallowed up in the First World War. The superb photographs show the moon, planets, various constellations and Halley's Comet. Rare, with OCLC listing only two copies worldwide, Bibliothèque Nationale and University of Wisconsin.
