A spectacular and rare piece of Italian book design under fascism, but without the usual heavy hand of Mussolini, presumably because it was done as an advertisement. The overall layout is imaginative and makes extensive use of photomontage. The overall effect is reminiscent of the publications issued by Maison Nicolas, the French purveyor of wines.
