A rare work of which celebrates one of the legendary events of the interwar years, the survival and rescue of the crew of the Chelushkin. This is defintely one of the more interesting of the dozens of examples of Stalinist propaganda "with the phomontages patently part of the Heroic Realism genre that Stalin was so keen to promote" (Parr and Badger), as opposed to industrial output.
