A delightful little book, which was privately published by the author, who was a notable print maker and supporter of Japanese folk life and customs. The title, Golden Bat, refers to
a brand name of Japanese cigarette, which was mainly made for export to China, where the bat is the symbol of good luck. The book shows how to use of the cigarette box to make origami animal figure toys. A rare book in perfect condition.
