The authentication committee of the Giorgio and Isa de Chirico Foundation oversaw the publication of this catalogue, with the first volume devoted to 450 works by the artist. This volume includes paintings and drawings which are not included in the original catalogue by Claudio Bruni Sakraischik and have been authenticated by the Foundation over the past few years. The selection of works, many of which are little-known or totally unknown, makes a substantial contribution to knowledge on the artist's oeuvre.
