Published to coincide with the Met's centennial. In addition to the libretto the volume contains a history of Der Rosenkavalier at the Met, including lists of all the singers and the roles which they performed. One of 1000 copies, signed by Beverly Sills (who did not perform the opera), by Tatiana Troyanos who sang Octavian in 1982, Rise Stevens who sang Octavian at the Met in 1939, and Christa Ludwig who sang Octavian in 1959 and the Marschalin in 1969.
