First edition. A charming little example of the work of the Gehenna Press. In this book Baskin links two of his favourite artists through their correspondence. Unlike today, at the time of publication both Rodolphe Bresdin and Odilon Redon were relatively little known. One of three hundred regular copies, from a total edition of four hundred numbered copies printed in Centaur and Arrighi types on Japanese paper by Harold P. McGrath.
