An immaculate copy of Maillol's final illustrated book. Maillol actually began working on the project in 1908; however, owing to numerous interruptions, the woodblocks were completed in 1944, shortly before the artist's death. Although originally intended as a joint project with Count Kessler, it was published posthumously by Gonin, the publisher of most of Maillol's books.
