A spectacular copy of this fundamental work on Burliuk which was one of the most substantial publications of The Societe Anonyme. This copy is inscribed, and dated 1945, by Burliuk to Miriam Grubin, with an elaborate full-page drawing in watercolour and crayon. Burliuk was one of the key artists in the Russian futurist movement, and he moved to the United States after the Revolution. Burliuk met Katherine Dreier in 1923 and she was helpful in promoting his career in the United States. Spine defective and lower front corner missing.
