Stereotype Edition. A lovely nineteenth-century English Bible in a handsome Cathedral Binding. These bindings, which were quite popular at the time of this Bible's publication, featured leather tooled in a gothic architectural motif. Contemporary ownership inscription on the second blank "Sophia Godfrey Barenstone. June 21st 1829." Aside from a small stain on the cover, this is a fine example.
