NELSON, Paul. Cité Hospitalière de Lille. With an Introduction by Christian Zervos. xxi pp. text followed by more than 50 plates illustrating floor plans and models for the project. Large 4to., illustrated wrappers in a recent cloth binding. Paris: Cahiers d'Art, 1933.
This book documents one of Nelson's most celebrated projects, the plans for a "Health-City" at Lille. His plans were rejected largely due to French opposition to having a non-French architect. However, later on he did manage to construct several important medical complexes in France, if not of the scale and grandeur of the one contemplated at Lille.
