Limited Edition of 400 copies. The colour illustrations fold out from the front and back covers and are in the watercolour style of Humphrey Repton's landscape designs for his "Red Books." The book can be displayed with all four illustrations on view at once and pages from the Stoppard dialogue as well. William Matthews is one of the foremost American artists in watercolour. The views follow the chronology of the play, depicting Sidley Park in 1730, 1809, 1812 and 1993. Signed by Stoppard and Matthews. As new.
