Active between 1956 and 1968, the Apiary Press, run by Smith College students under the direction of Leonard Baskin, printed 42 books, with editions limited to between 10 and 30 copies. The bindings for these books were simple, but almost all had illustrations. Featured poets included Emily Dickinson, Walt Whitman, and Edgar Allan Poe. Mazur went on to have a long and successful career as an artist, teacher and writer.

One of an edition of 34 copies signed by Michael Mazur. Despite slight wear to the fargile binding, a fine copy of this scarce book.
