In recent years, Lillian Bassman is being redisovered and celebrated as a visionary for her elegant and modern photographs. Working closely with Chuck Kelton, the 32 original silver gelatin prints in this limited edition book are gold-toned silver gelatin prints, bringing out the depth of her blacks. Using archival glues and a Coptic binding, the prints are held together to make a book but retain the integrity of the print.
